Hi! I'm Hailey.

This little blog is a peek in to my world and what I do. I currently live in Gulu, Uganda serving with an organization called Zion Project. We serve women and children who have previously been caught in the global sex trade. More specifically, I am the interim Country Director, overseeing all of our programs. We have 10 beautiful women who hand-make jewelry we sell for fair-trade wages, as a way for them to get out of prostitution and support their families. We also have a Rescue Home, where we have 17 girls, and I love each and every one of them to pieces. I also love Jesus- which is what landed me here in Uganda. I hope you see that in this blog! I also hope you see my absolute adoration for this country and the people here. I love taking pictures and telling stories. I'm not going to pretend I'm an awesome photographer (I'm not) or an awesome writer/story-teller (I'm not). I just want people to know about the love and the hope of Jesus, who He is, and what He is doing here in this place I love so much.

I love loving the heck out of people.

I love coffee.

I love 17 little chocolate-colored nuggets that call me Auntie.

I love sunrises and sunsets.

I love hiking and climbing rocks and anything outdoors.

I love my family.

I love adventures.

I love giving people presents.

I love my friends, and friends I don't know yet.

I love quiet mornings spent with coffee, a good book or the Bible. Preferably all three.

I love Jesus. Sometime so much I can't breathe.
